OUR LEADERSHIP

Accounting Information Management Solutions (AIMS) was founded in 1999 by Mr. Aaron Barnes, a former corporate executive with Fortune 100 Corporations:  Philip Morris Companies and MCI Telecommunications Corporation.

Mr. Barnes is a Certified Public Accountant with over twenty (20) years of broad financial and management expertise in both publicly and privately owned entrepreneurial entities.  He is highly efficient and effective with demonstrated success in increasing the profitability and value of companies by quickly understanding key metrics and business drivers.  His diversified work experience includes start-ups, high-growth-rate and mature companies across multiple industries. With a keen sense for people, Mr. Barnes has excellent interpersonal skills to communicate and assist executives with their implementation and use, as well as strong technology and solution development skills.

Mr. Barnes holds a bachelor of business administration in accounting from Adelphi University in New York, a Certified Public Accountant (License #109866) from the State of New York, a member of the American Institute of Certification Public Accountants, a member of the National Accounting Society, a member of the National Associated Builders Contractors, a Certificate in Government Contracting from Georgia Technology Procurement Assistance Center, a Certificate from Construction Business Management Institute and a Small Disadvantage Business Enterprise Certification with the State of Georgia and the Federal Government.
